Donations

Tributes
Perform a double mitzvah by honoring or memorializing friends and family. This beautiful Jewish tradition provides for people in need to benefit at significant milestones in our lives. Donations may be designated to support specific funds at Kadima. Donations range from $10, Chai ($18), Double Chai ($36) or a handsome Caring Hand Certificate ($50).

Fundraisers
Throughout the year, Kadima sponsors fundraisers to broaden our support and educate the community.

  • Annual Benefit
Usually in the fall, the benefit is an evening of entertainment, at a performance venue, with 1200 attending. Tickets start at $100.

  • Ad Journal
The ad journal underwrites the benefit evening costs, allowing all ticket sales to go to direct services for clients. Ads start at $50 for one line, to $2,000 for the back cover. Full page ads of $700 or more include tickets to the benefit.

  • Parlor Meetings
Parlor meetings are held in private homes. These gatherings allow Kadima to reach out and educate people about mental illness and the services we provide. Minimum giving level varies.

  • Golf Tournament Usually scheduled in early summer, the tournament includes sponsorship opportunities, lunch, 18 hole round of golf, cocktails, dinner, prizes, raffle and live auction. Cost: $1200 for foursome/$350 per person.

  • Theater Events
Built around movie or theater productions that focus on mental health issues, these events allow Kadima to reach out to more donors and educate the public. Ticket prices vary.

  • Solicitation Mailings
Chanukah and Passover mailings solicit support for services for adults with mental illness as we celebrate miracles and blessings in our lives.

  • Program sponsorship
Donations may be designated to sponsor portions of our ongoing programs.

Name funds
Establish a name fund at Kadima to support a program close to your heart. To do so requires a $5,000 commitment payable over several years.

Endowment
Kadima is actively seeking endowment dollars to insure our ability to exist in the future. You can endow a specific program or service or general operations. The minimum contribution accepted for endowment is $1,000. Our goal is $10 million dollars.

More Opportunities
Establish a life income plan, purchase a life insurance policy designating Kadima as the beneficiary, or provide for Kadima in your will.
