For Young People
- Make/bake something for clients for one of the Jewish holidays
- Share in a Jewish tradition.
- Play games (bingo, softball, softball, putt-tee golf, etc.)
- Do an activity together (local sights, oneg Shabbat, Israeli dancing)
- Send holiday cards.
For Youth Groups
- Plan a holiday celebration (oneg Shabbat, Purim schpiel, etc.)
- Put on a fundraiser (garage sale, car wash, etc.)
- Develop an activity (sports, movies, arts and crafts)
- Send holiday cards.
- Help with clerical work.
- Help with fall and spring clean-up at a home.
- Share your talents (music, storytelling, plays, poetry)
For Families
- Invite Kadima consumers for Shabbat dinner or a Jewish holiday meal.
- Help with spring or fall clean-up at Kadima homes.
- Plant flowers at Kadima homes.
For Adults
- Drive clients to appointments, therapy sessions, Shabbat services, or pick up household/office donations.
- Develop a relationship with a client, become a "buddy".
- make plans together
- visit or call, especially important for seniors
- share meals together
- go together to concerts and sporting events
- Help at a Kadima outing.
- Share Jewish holidays and traditions.
- Do clerical tasks in the office.
- Help with the annual benefit or ad journal.
- Donate professional services.
- Donate "event" tickets for clients' use.
- Teach a workshop in an area of your interest to a group of clients in the daytime or evening.
- Help find sources for employment for clients.
