Eric joined Kadima in 2014 as its third Executive Director. Eric has over 15 years of non-profit management experience and he has used this experience to build a strong management team committed to Kadima’s vision, mission and values. During his tenure, Kadima has undergone significant changes in its service delivery model, business practices, community profile and development efforts which have strengthened the organization and will help to ensure that Kadima is able to fulfill its mission now and in the future. Eric has a BA in Judaic Studies from The George Washington University and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Wayne State University. He has also studied abroad at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In 2014, Eric was recognized in the Crain’s 40 under 40.

Clinical Director
Jean Nemenzik, LMSW

Jean joined Kadima in 2015 as the Clinical Director. She is a licensed Master’s Level Social Worker, receiving her MSW from the University of Michigan. Jean has 20 years of experience in various social work modalities, as well as administrative and clinical management of programs serving the severely persistently mentally ill in both clinical and residential settings. Jean has extensive experience in the implementation and operation of evidence based practices including Assertive Community Treatment, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Multi-Family Group Therapy, Parent Management Training and Motivational Interviewing. Prior to coming to Kadima Jean served as the Clinical Director for Hope Network, Behavioral Health Services for 7 years. She has also taught social work at Saginaw Valley State University and has worked in private practice at Catholic Family Services and the Dialectical Behavioral Center of Michigan.

Finance Director

Andrew joined Kadima in March of 2017. He attended Oakland University where he majored in Accounting. Andrew has over 10 years of accounting and financial management experience and has extensive experience leading a non-profit finance team including starting a non-profit of his own. Prior to coming to Kadima, Andrew led the finance department for a charter school management and consulting firm in Farmington Hills. Prior to that, Andrew acted as the Finance Manager for DANTeC which operated the North Terminal of Detroit Metro Airport.

Human Resources Director

Pat joined Kadima in 2013 as the Human Resources Director. She has over 17 years of experience as a human resources professional within the engineering and non-profit sectors. Pat is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies that enable Kadima to recruit, train, and retain a high performing and motivated workforce. She specializes in on-boarding, talent management, staffing, employee benefits, training and development, and employee relations. Pat holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Marygrove College.

Michelle Malamis, MSW

Michelle joined Kadima in 2014 as its Development Director. She has over 16 years of experience in program development, marketing, volunteer management, grant writing, event planning and fund development. Michelle is responsible for all fundraising and marketing efforts at Kadima, as well as volunteer program development and event planning. Since joining Kadima, she has helped to raise awareness of Kadima in the community, build new partnerships and enhance all marketing, development and volunteer engagement efforts. Michelle has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University with a focus on Community Organizing. She has a certification in Volunteer Management from Wayne State University.

Jonathan Modiano

Jonathan was installed as the Kadima Board President in 2018. He has been with UBS for 15 years and graduated from Western Michigan University, where he received his B.A. in Business Administration. After completing advanced studies, he received his Wealth Advisor designation. Jonathan has been named to UBS's Top 35 under 35 Financial Advisors (2016 and 2015). Through personal relationships, Jonathan understands well the importance of Kadima’s work in the community and is excited to continue to move the agency forward.
